Our Story

Friendswood Plumbing Co. was founded in 2003 on a simple idea: bring honest, licensed, code-legal plumbing work to Gulf Coast homeowners — with pricing you can see before we start, and a warranty that means something. We've been at 118 Hunters Lane ever since, and we've grown from a one-truck operation into a stocked fleet of licensed technicians serving 60+ cities across Galveston, Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Chambers counties.

We've worked through every Gulf storm this millennium — Allison, Ike, Harvey, Beta, Beryl — and the lessons from each one live in how we prep, respond, and repair. When Winter Storm Uri froze pipes across half of Friendswood in 2021, we ran 24-hour shifts for three straight weeks. When Beryl flooded the older sections of the city in 2024, we replaced 47 gas water heaters in the first 21 days. Those aren't stories — they're our track record.

How We Work — What Every Customer Sees

Every plumbing call runs the same six steps whether it's a $189 drain clear at midnight or a $9,000 whole-house PEX-A repipe. A licensed dispatcher answers on the first ring, triages the emergency, gives you a real arrival window, and stays on the line if you need help finding your main shut-off. On-site, a Texas Master Plumber (not a subcontracted apprentice) diagnoses the problem — with pressure isolation, acoustic leak detection, thermal imaging, or sewer camera when the source is hidden. You get a written flat-rate price before any wrench comes out.

When the job needs a permit, we pull it. The City of Friendswood requires permits for water heaters, sewer repairs, water piping, drainage and vent piping, and backflow devices. We handle the paperwork, schedule the inspection, and hand you a written 2-year workmanship warranty when we leave. Larger jobs — repipes, sewer replacements, tankless installations, gas line work — carry longer warranties documented at the time of estimate.
